MOCAN is the only nonprofit organization designated as a Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center through the American Association of Colleges & Universities. MOCAN provides programming, strategic support and thought leadership in the critical pillars of TRHT: narrative change, racial healing and relationship building.

MOCAN’s TRHT plan includes creating a positive narrative in the community regarding racial healing by promoting community healing activities on campuses and within communities and preparing the next generation of leaders to build just and equitable educational environments and communities.

MOCAN provides leadership institutes and training opportunities for campus administrative leaders (including students) and works to build a stronger ecosystem of professionals through the Community Within the Network and The Brotherhood Leadership Academies.

The Community Within the Network model provides the participating professionals a curated learning and training space to develop or enhance their leadership skills, increase success in their career, and improve their career trajectory to serve and support the students they serve.
The Brotherhood Leadership Academies, conducted in St. Louis and Kansas City, are designed to increase and elevate the professional trajectory of diverse men in education and related fields.
