JaVon Hill
JaVon Hill directs the KCCAN Completion Project, a three-year initiative to increase postsecondary attainment of Kansas City Public Schools graduates attending three partner institutions. JaVon is a student success leader dedicated to advancing equitable access to higher education and improving college completion outcomes. His work has focused on designing and strengthening pathways that support student development, persistence, and long-term success. JaVon is driven by a commitment to ensuring all students, regardless of background, have the opportunity to navigate and complete their educational journey. JaVon is a Kansas City native and first-generation college graduate. JaVon has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a MBA and a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration both from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He previous led the Men of Character Academy at the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
