Janet Matos is a dedicated member of the inaugural team of KCCAN College and Career Advisors and will be at Northeast High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kansas State University. Her previous experience includes serving as the Lead College and Career Coordinator at FL Schlagle High School and as an Admissions Recruiter for Kansas City Kansas Community College. Janet also contributed as the Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at Schlagle and actively volunteers with the Kansas City Kansas School Foundation for Excellence. As a first-generation college graduate, she is passionate about empowering students to navigate their educational and career journeys with confidence and purpose.
