Amanda Obeso is among the first team of KCCAN College and Career Advisors and will be placed at the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri and soon after joined the Missouri College Advising Corps as a College Adviser at William Chrisman High School in Independence School District. Her previous experience includes multiple K-12 classroom positions in Columbia, MO, an internship with the Choral Arts Alliance of Missouri, and leadership positions with the University of Missouri University Singers. Amanda is a proud Hispanic first-generation college graduate and is eager to serve a diverse population of promising students in Kansas City Public Schools.
