Workshop Title: Employer Relations – Connecting Students to the Real World
Workshop Description: This session will provide an overview of employer relations and strategies for connecting your students to local companies. Topics will include understanding the employer perspective, benefits and types of real-world experiences, targeting companies by industry, and developing experiential programs for students. Attendees will also learn how to create a marketing pitch to encourage companies to engage with their school and how to build a network for alumni to support your efforts.
We will be joined by Dr. Lakeisha Mathews, Director, Career & Internship Center at the University of Baltimore and Past President of the National Career Development Association
