PDI: The Path to Higher Education: Undocumented and Undeterred (Virtual)

In Missouri, undocumented students are ineligible for state scholarships and those attending public institutions are required to pay at least double the tuition rates of their peers who graduate from the same high schools. We are pleased to welcome back Independent Student Advisor, Félipe Martínez (they/them). With 13 years of experience providing direct student advising and programming services, Félipe will provide an overview of the unique challenges faced by undocumented students from Missouri and discuss real, everyday ways counselors and educators can offer guidance and support throughout postsecondary planning.
