DESCRIPTION:Workshop Title: Advising College Bound Student Athletes \nWorkshop Description: High school students planning to pursue athletics and athletic scholarships at the collegiate level must be aware of academic and other eligibility requirements. Counselors must also be aware of these requirements. In this workshop\, counselors and advisors will: \n\nUnderstand how to best support your college-bound student athletes\nUnderstand the eligibility standards for NCAA/NAIA and JUCO including the counselor’s role in the process\nReview changes in the eligibility process\nReview resources available to counselors and discuss several student scenarios\n\nWho Should Attend?
