SUMMARY:National College Attainment Network Virtual Spring Institute: Striving for Equity
DESCRIPTION:The virtual event is being held as a three-part series on April 21\, May 12\, and June 2. This year\, we focus on building personal and organizational capacity in the areas of diversity and inclusion to impact equity in the postsecondary attainment field. Each 90-minute session will encourage attendees to reflect on their own organization’s diversity\, equity\, and inclusion (DEI) journey and implement valuable practices to advance antiracist efforts internally and externally in their student-facing services. \nSpring Institute is ideal for professionals from all walks of life working in the postsecondary attainment space- whether be it the nonprofit sector\, high school and district setting\, institution of higher ed\, or any other line of direct service that provides students with opportunities and pathways toward a postsecondary plan.
